Blog update – LIFESTRUCK. Southern Storm – day 2 … and I thought Ironman was toughSunday night – What an incredible day!  I am exhausted, and as my mate Porra would say money’s sore (my knees are sore)

So what was it like? Relentless and beautiful. The hills just never stop and never stop coming either. It is without a doubt on of the more significant things I have done – actually I think waking up and continuing tomorrow is going to be right up there too 8-)

The short answers:
–    Hardest part: There are so many answers to this one. It wasn’t like ironman, no people to cheer you on. No water and food when you need it. No rhythm to be found. It was constant push, trip, shuffle, trip, climb up (trip) climb down (trip) … then of course you got to run along the lilly pad at the end!

-    Best part: running along next to a whale. The end. My family who came to support

-    Where’s my head – there were moments on that run when I was thinking. How they hell am I going to get up tomorrow and do this all again? After a few hours of love and attention and pulling myself towards myself … I know I will be back.
